Vintage Baltic Amber Double Strand Necklace

This is a genuine Baltic amber necklace, and it is more than it first appears. Each polished chip is strung on a double strand. Two threads running side by side through every piece, giving the necklace a subtle but significant weight and presence that a single strand simply cannot match. The color moves from deep cognac to warm honey depending on the light, with natural inclusions and internal variation in every single chip. No two are alike. The necklace runs approximately 20 inches and closes with a traditional amber barrel screw clasp carved from amber itself, period appropriate, and fully intact. Materials and construction are consistent with mid-20th century European production. Provenance is unknown, and we say so honestly. Condition is excellent.
